Whirlpool Wall Oven FCE1 Error Code

VERIFIED

Error code FCE1
Appliance Wall Oven

Router connection failed

FCE1 tells you the oven could not link up with your router. The Wi-Fi module may be the trouble spot. Reasons named for it: a time out while connecting, a weak signal, a dead router, the oven’s own module, or its wiring.

Step 1: power the oven off and on

Cut the oven’s breaker for a minute and restore it. Then spend a minute looking for the code and confirm that the oven runs.

Step 2: reset the wireless router

  1. Test another Wi-Fi gadget, say a phone or tablet, standing next to the oven to see that it behaves.
  2. When it does, power the router down for 2 minutes, then up again.
  3. Following that, switch the oven’s supply off for 2 minutes and on again.

Weak signal

Short of full bars? Shift the router to another spot at home, add an extender that is compatible, or speak to your Internet Service Provider.

Compare

  • FCE2: another failed router link.
  • FCE3: a Wi-Fi module message.
  • FCE8: listed with reset steps only.

Still seeing FCE1 after both resets? Ring (415) 687-4102 to arrange a technician visit in San Francisco. Have the oven’s model number ready and a short list of what you tried with the breaker and the router. The service page, Whirlpool wall oven repair, has more.

Model compatibility: Whirlpool reuses codes across series and model years, so FCE1 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
